In the first episode, the Incredibles visited the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Beartooth Pass, Yellowstone National Park, Glacier National Park, and Schweitzer Resort. In the second, they journeyed to the Cascades, Mount Rainier, Mount St. Helens, the Oregon Coast, Yaquina Lighthouse, Crater Lake, the redwoods and sequoias, and Redrock Canyon. In this episode, they experience the final stage of their journey! The incredibles at the Grand Canyon"It's like someone scooped a mountain range out of the plains." "Like reverse mountains?" "Exactly. Look, it goes on for miles! It's two hundred and seventy-seven miles long. And there's the Colorado River, glittering way down at the bottom like a silver thread." "You've been reading a lot of Brandon Sanderson, haven't you?" "I dare even him to adequately describe this place." Pause. "Can we just sit here for a while?" Hand in hand. "Sure." The Incredibles in the Petrified Forest"It takes a special kind of superpower to turn living things into stone. Check out these trees--they're stone all the way through!" "Maybe the White Witch from Narnia?" "You forget, she was defeated by Aslan. Bye-bye witch." "Let's get a picture next to these things." "Absolutely!" "Honey, we're taking a picture. Stop looking so scared and smile." "But I'm petrified. Get it? Petrified?" *facepalm* The Incredibles in the Painted Desert"They call it the Painted Desert." "Who painted it?" "Someone with far more incredible powers than ours..." The incredibles at Mesa Verde"Look, honey, you didn't want the tree house earlier. But these are already built! They just need to get cleaned up a bit." "If we're going to move, can we at least pick a house that doesn't require cliff climbing to access?" "You're Elastigirl! You can access any place you want with those stretchy limbs of yours." "Think of the kids, Bob. Think of the kids." The Incredibles in Rocky Mountain National Park"It's like Skyline Drive in Virginia, only more incredible!" "Why more incredible?" "It's over 11,000 feet above sea level! That's three times higher than Skyline." "And three times colder. Hand me my jacket." The Incredibles in Kansas“I spy something green." "Corn." "I spy something that begins with C." "Corn." "I spy something tall." "Corn." "I spy..." "Corn." "How did you know?" "It's Kansas." The Incredibles Return Home"We had a good time, didn't we, honey?"
"Can we do it again?" "Why not? We can do whatever we want. Because..." "WE'RE INCREDIBLE!" "But maybe next time, we won't be alone..." If you like something I wrote here, you are free to share/quote it with credit and a link back to the original page on my website.
